Long Title:PROCLAIMIING THE STATE AS A PURPLE HEART STATE HONORING THE SERVICE AND SACRIFICE OF OUR NATION’S MEN AND WOMEN IN UNIFORM WHO WERE WOUNDED OR KILLED DURING ENEMY COMBAT WHILE SERVING TO PROTECT THE FREEDOMS ENJOYED BY ALL AMERICANS.

This House Joint Resolution establishes the State of Delaware as a Purple Heart state paying tribute to those men and women who have lost life and limb while protecting the freedoms enjoyed by all.
