Long Title:RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A STUDY GROUP TO IDENTIFY METHODS FOR BETTER PROTECTING DELAWARE’S SENIOR CITIZENS FROM FINANCIAL EXPLOITATION.
Synopsis of Orginal Bill:
(without Amendments)
As Delaware’s senior population increases so do incidents of financial exploitation. Protection of seniors and their assets is therefore acknowledged as a paramount concern of the General Assembly. This resolution establishes a study group to assess how the Delaware laws may be enhanced to provide protections of seniors in the context of financial exploitation.
